The basic objective of the game is to gain points by forming sets and runs. Each player receives 13 cards, and the rest will be dealt out. The game then proceeds counterclockwise. Every time you are dealt a new card, you are supposed to place it down on the table face down, and on the first turn of the game, you should be dealt at least one set, which could be a run or an entire set of cards. When you have collected four cards at the end of the first turn, you should be dealt another round, and so on. This is to ensure that every player gets at least one set.
